Amazing Poetry

Today we did a poem called "Nature" by Emily Dickinson. Here were some of our best poems.

Grace

A solitary birdsong slices the morning air
A shadowy mist intrudes upon the hills
Consuming the world
With a piercing silence

Wind whistles
Blossom flourishing from Bare boughs
Dew dripping
Sunlight seeping through the trees

A call
From a choir that had ceased to sing
Sun sinking through the trees
Engulfing the land with darkness

"A new season"
Maia

The morning exposed to light
To see the silhouette
Of mountains towering overhead
Trees growing green and strong

The new season encroaching the cold
Bringing mist and birdsong
Sunlight hangs low along the valley
Awakening everything in its path

A colour stands abroad
With joy and new life
Calls from a choir of new
Life gets brighter

"Spring has come"
Levi

The beaming light reflects upon the sea
A steaming sun warms the earth
A seeping shine peers through the
Gaps in the tree
Giving a hint

An early waking solitary bird chirps
Awakening the blossom
Blooming in the dawn

Frowns turn to smiles
Warmth engulfs the land
And Spring begins

Finley

The light seeps through the sea
Causing the warmth to wrap around us
And as the choirs sound echoes around the grassy plains
The feeling lifts the soul

The dew dripping from solitary leaves
Leaving a damp mark in the ground
As the morning turns into noon
Time seems to be wasted away

Now as the light behind the sea
And the flowers cover their mighty eyes
The orange light reflecting from the ocean
Causing the blanket to quiver in the cold

Braxton

A light seeps through my window
I awaken to an early song
Encroaching the silence
A silhouette a solitary mountain

Fog intrudes the morning sun
Taming the morning city
The morning fog roams in the city
It resolves into the thin air
Releasing the city and sun
Starting a new spring day

Jimmy

As the sun awakens a solitary birdsong
swiftly swifts through dense forest caressing
Cool skeletal figures that watch over
The land. The sun warmth glistens on
Springs morning dew at the waters edge

The high mountains awaken. Standing
Like giants over the vast land bringing
Out the light.

all of these poems are REALLY good but the one poem that stood out to me was levi's poem. He had a lot of descriptive words. Well done!!!
