This morning we were introduced to a new initiative in our rooms where the children are given responsibility to uniquely timetable their week. This opportunity was grabbed by so many excited students! They have access to their teachers' schedules and from here they need to organise their week - what responsible learners we have!
We also had our first athletics training at Hansen Park where we jumped long, ran fast and long and threw shot put and discus.
This afternoon we randomly drew groups to work in that were related to fairytales - it was chaos when they first met! Each group then brainstormed what they knew about fairytales. More to come on our Twisted Tales topic over the next few days...
