What do you miss about summer?
Jessica F
Dew speckled fields glimmer
Misty breath shivers
Wrinkled leaves eddy to the ground
Joining frostbitten undergrowth
A solitary birdsong
Pierces crisp silence
Woodland takes a withering breath
As the last wisps of warmth fade.
Finley
A swift movement of light
Sprints through the trees
Awaiting the day he will come
And their he is
The wind echoes as he approaches
Trees wrinkle as he sways his sword
He has came for control
But he wont let him
The battle lasts for many days
Swords clashing, voices screaming
But soon the time has come
As he takes the blow
Blood oozes from his chest
But he knows,
That summer will return.
Ally
The first sorrow of autumn
Its slowly saying goodbye
A brown poppy blooming
The stalk rising
And still cannot grow
Second sorrow
Cold morning, frost shivers
As the windows were freezing
Eli
The Four Sorrows
A solitary leaf snaps off,
A leafless tree and eddies to the ground
Joining the dew and frost
Summer has been consumed by autumn
Only to be unleashed when the plants have regrown
Birds start to migrate leaving the air silent
Darkness takes over
The Six Sorrows
Ida
The chirping birds that flew away
In search of warmth
To return next year.
Rain increases,
Splattering down
With spite
Soaking all before it.
The crevassed face
Once new, now old
Peers through the window
His day nearly over,
Dreading death
A final breath
Then tumbling down,
To join the leaves on the ground
Death in the air
A solitary leaf floats through the window
More, following in its wake
Catacombing the man's body
He lies there,
Like the air around him,
Joining the silence
Cara
The first sorrow of autumn
As it slowly says farewell
A solitary leaf eddies to the ground
To surround its friends.
The second sorrow of autumn
The sun fades away,
A crevassed face seeks his future
But there is no future,
There is only a past.
Falling to the depths of his life
Dew covers over,
Death is approaching
Crawling to the bottom
A shiver climbs up his spine
The catacombs awaiting
A suffering silence.

Braxton
Upset summer
Fading away
Autumn grows stronger
Trees weaken, leaves eddy to their doom.
Fields with dew during the night to dawn
Summer retreats into the woods
The falling leaves turn into a bow and arrow
She shoots
Sumer's hit
He falls to his doom
She takes control.

That sounds like an awesome poem. I wish I had been there. I'm looking forward to being back at school tomorrow.
