Ida
The dew drop quivers
Its window shaking
A burst of light
Luminescent, concealing
Icy fingers,
Stroking walls
The intricate layer of crystals
Cascading over the world
They meet at the summits
The highest peaks
Where the steam glows
Iridescent
A wolf howls,
Its words snatched away,
By the spiteful wind,
The cold faces its enemy.
A shard of ice,
Slicing through the air,
A beam of fire,
They have awoken.

To Win You Must Lose
The continuous battle has come once again
For he snatches the life,
Leaving nothing but leafless boughs.
The splintering pain slowly descends
But the fury does nothing but grow
He sends a message of heat
"I need help", he says, spiritless.
They return with more hope
More strength, but still missing one thing
Anger overtaking what once was a game
They're both determined to win.
The cloak that once concealed him, gone,
The army that once protected him, gone,
But weakness bring back their trust.

His battle cry is heard through the valley
The star draws her arrow
Aims
And fires.
Winter slips underneath the arrow
His icy fingers tamper with it
Laughing.
He brandishes a sword
He plunges the blade into the fiery being
His opponent's step falters
Outraged the burning figure strikes
Sending shards of fire towards the frozen prince
He dodges them skilfully.
The star's flame start to weaken
Ashes flow from her wound
As the last wisps of her fade.
The Warrior of Fire
Max
The phoenix in its volcano living peacefully
But it will change.
Suddenly an ice-bird from the North enters the fight
The two clash with their talons
The ice-bird launches her deadly laser beams
And the phoenix starts to create a fireball.
The phoenix hurls it at the ice-bird
The ice-bird starts to be set alight
But the ice-bird uses all its weapons
And imprisons the phoenix in an ice-cage.
The phoenix inside her ice cage
Rattles the bars with her talons
Suddenly she breaks through the bars
She flies through but is spotted by the ice-bird.
The two collide
Then battle once more
But the phoenix pushes the ice-bird in her volcano
The ice-bird burns up.
Toby
As he sits in the sky
Gazing over the land
Trees turning to dust
Crumbling in the slightest breeze
Suddenly winter blundered against the rocks
Chilling them to the core.
The autumn sun burns through the ice
Winter's growling warriors glisten
The green silky grass soon turns to cold white swords.
The sun's beams try to bullet through the thick grey clouds
A giant ice shard shoots into the air
Penetrating the sun's ribs.
The sun whimpers in pain
The light passes away
Letting winter take it all.

His enemy arose over the summits of the tallest peaks
Summer frees lakes and quags but not winter.
Winter crawls with fear
Across the ground
Fading away, melting in puddles of his own flesh.
Frantically tearing at the grass beneath his frozen hands
In one slight moment summer penetrates his icy skin.
Winter laying motionless on the ground
But spring rises and stubs summer through the heart.
All is dark.

A cold spiteful enemy rises
Trudging down he draws his weapon
The sun, gleaming its rays
Melting the enemy
Weapon dropping to the ground
Empty, weaponless he abandons the war.
Arrives empty handed, spiritless
His relatives ashamed
Summer had won!
Stella
The sun his enemy
Emerging from the summits of the tallest peaks
The trap-frozen fox melted lying limp
He blunders through the forest
His frozen fingers catching on the leafless boughs.
The spiteful beam of sunlight shining bright
The fields turned to quag as winter fires back taking his turn.
He rejoices as he rips a tear in the sun.
A mist sifts over the land
As his weapons of coldness lie in a glittering pile
As both know that they will meet again.
Alas Winter Has Come
Jimmy
The star emerges
As winter is upon us
The solitary star slowly withers away the glistening ice
Slowly winter arises from the ashes
He draws his bow and fires
The arrow drives into his chest
Cold sifts through his lifeless body
Fury stabs the sun as he roars in his rage
Penetrating the dark sky
The sun's rage burns his skeletal body
His icy clouds shield him slowly healing his fateful burns
Winter rises once more
Using his fired arrow, he dragged the sun to the ashes
Once more winter has come.
Orla
His foe, the sun,
Rising above the mountain peeks,
Warming the enemy...
The warrior begins his battle.
He draws an icy arrow
Shoots it on its journey to the sun,
His enemy shatters
Then forms again...
The warrior struggles,
Trying to emerge victor from a losing battle,
A cry of fury bursts through his lips,
His foe stabs a dagger into his soul.
The great warrior of winter treads away and falls,
The sun stands victor over his broken opponent,
The warrior falls prisoner to his greatest enemy,
However he knows they must meet once again...
Zoe P
As he meets his enemy the sun
The woods are leafless
He grabbed his enemy
The frost bites him
Is it the end?
They stay staring at one another
Not knowing who will speak
All silent apart from the occasional bird song
As he knows his life, he is the first to speak
Being the bravest.
They fight again
Winter is about to take over
The fight has almost finished
But the battle continues
Knowing they will meet again.
Cara
As winter's enemy rises from the dust
Summer is emerging, coming closer and closer
Weapons of coldness threaten
Something beckons, I follow.
Continuous rainfall starts to slow down
Naked trees howl to the wind
Winter slumps, summer has won
One stab, one cry, then silence.
